Blue Pomegranate Art and Music Show

We are so pleased to announce the launching of Blue Pomegranate’s sixth season on Thursday, September 20, and what a show we have planned!
We are thrilled that New Jersey’s power pop band The Beagles will take us on a musical journey that evening. They are celebrating the release of their debut CD, Bed of Roses with their live sets, featuring a mix of songs from the CD, as well as unique spins on standards and covers. Before and after their sets, we will have the opportunity to listen to playback of the rest of their CD through a concert sound system, and chat with the band about their experience recording with producer Lon Van Eaton, who had been signed as an artist to Apple Records, and who has worked with George Harrison and Ringo Starr on their solo projects. Follow The Beagles on their new site:
The artist for the evening is Jeanne Elodie, a self-described Renaissance artist, who not only paints, specializing in murals and portraits, but also adds sculpting and photography to her list of artistic accomplishments. A debilitating accident at the age of four provides the impetus for her art, her painting in particular. Jeanne also writes, and just for fun, acts, dances, and sings as well.
Doors open on September 20 at 7:00pm in Cook Hall, on the Blawenburg Church campus at 424 Route 518. Light refreshments will be served, and admission is free, although donations are encouraged and go to support the musicians. Please share on your facebook page, and we hope to see you there!
